Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, Test equipment to locate transmission faults, Determine nature, cause and location of trouble, Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures, Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets, Determine work assignments, Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access, Splice, join and connect wires, Repair or replace defective telephone equipment

Work site environment: Outdoors

 

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

 

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

$37.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week
