Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build heavy industrial machinery
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Move and align subassemblies and components
  • Install major components such as gears, pumps, motors or hydraulic assemblies
  • Read blueprints and drawings
  • Test machines and equipment
  • Welding experience

Tasks:

Load, unload and transport construction materials. Read blueprints to determine work requirements. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Clean and pile salvaged materials.
